What does Waycross Strategy do?

Waycross Strategy is an independent AI consultancy for small and mid-sized businesses. It helps owners and their teams work out where AI is worth using, sets up the right tools and trains people to use them, and builds custom AI solutions for specific jobs such as handling enquiries, preparing quotes, processing documents and reporting.

Who is it for?

Businesses with roughly ten to a few hundred people that want AI to help with practical, everyday work. Typical clients are professional services firms, agencies, trades and construction, property, logistics, e-commerce and manufacturing. Most are in the UK, with some in Europe and the US.

Do we need to be technical?

No. We work in plain English with the people who do the job, and everything we build comes with a written guide and training. If you have an IT provider or an in-house developer, we work alongside them.

What is a custom AI solution?

Software built for one job in your business. It uses AI to do the reading, writing, sorting and checking that someone currently does by hand, and it passes work to a person at the points you choose. It connects to the software you already use, so your team can keep working the way they do today.

How does pricing work?

The AI review has a fixed scope and a fixed price, and usually takes two to four weeks. Custom solutions are quoted per job after a short scoping call. Training is priced per team. Ongoing support is a monthly fee for an agreed number of days. Everything starts with a free 30-minute call.

Which AI tools do you work with?

Whatever suits your business. For everyday use that is usually Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, ChatGPT or Claude. Custom solutions are built on the major AI platforms. Waycross takes no referral fees from any supplier, so every recommendation is based on what fits your business and budget.

What about data privacy and security?

Before any work starts we agree which information AI tools are allowed to see, where it is processed and how it is kept out of AI training. Custom solutions include access controls and a record of what they did. UK GDPR requirements are built in from the start.

Where are you based?

London, United Kingdom. Most work is done remotely, with visits on site when that is useful.
